Explore ways to incorporate a mix of traditional and progressive approaches to drawing in charcoal into your personal style. This class will include discussion and critique, and is designed to challenge students of all levels.

About the Instructor:

Ruth Chase works primarily in charcoal on wood panel. Her work confronts belief systems and perspective. A graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, she is a natural innovator whose works are thought-provoking routes to self discovery. She has been teaching fine art and exhibiting her work since 1990. Raised in Venice Beach and living in Northern California, she teaches drawing and painting and exhibits her work throughout the US.
